Most smart objects work to make our lives more convenient. Whether it is making our laundry easier or keeping us healthier, most make live easier in the most basic way. One new smart object however, the Leeo Smart Alert Nightlight, has the ability to save lives.
Leeo is small internet connected device that plugs into any wall socket. This “wall wart” listens to existing smoke and carbon dioxide alarms and notifies users via a smart phone app. Many times homeowners who are asleep won’t hear these lifesaving alarms. This is also a challenge for those who are hearing impaired and may be unable to hear the alarms. Since so many people sleep with the smart devices on their nightstands, Leeo will bring these alarms closer to users.
Another smart aspect of the device is the ability to call either 911 or preset contacts automatically. For those who are elderly or disabled, this has the ability to save lives.
Leeo is available now for $99. Lear more about the device or purchase it here.
